The new Ford GT was presented earlier this year at the North American International Motor Show as the successor to the first generation of GT which was produced in the period from 2005 to 2006, which was created as a tribute to its famous ancestor Ford GT 40. Unlike the legendary GT 40 and last GT, new racing car will stop the tradition when we talk about driving units. Output engine power of this racing GT is not known, but as Ford announced that the road version should possess 600 horse power, do not expect the runner deviate much from these figures. It will be able to go from 0-60 mph in less than three seconds and it will have maximum speed of 200 mph.
The 2016 Ford GT Le Mans will have it debut at the beginning of 2016 at the 24-hour endurance race in Dayton (the Daytona 24 Hours). During 2016, Ford will compete in two championships, “the FIA World Endurance Championship” and “United Sports Car Championship.
